Howard is a co-founder of Halio, Inc. He was formerly VP of R&D at Symyx Technologies where he pioneered the use of combinatorial methods for the discovery and optimization of functional materials. With a Ph.D. from MIT, Howard started his career with Exxon. He has authored more than 60 scientific publications and 200 issued patents. In 2022, Howard was named as one of the 14 Top CTO’s in the US in Smart Cities Space.
Sam is a co-founder of Halio, Inc. He drew from his experience in process development and systems design to co-found Halio. Previously VP of Engineering at Symyx Technologies, Sam has written over 25 issued patents. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2022, Sam was named as one the 17 To COO’s in the US in Advanced Materials.
